We ate Out of Our Pantry for 2 Months

We survived the Three Rivers Challenge Pantry Challenge. However, we not only survived, we thrived. We had a blast focusing on eating from our larder and we are going to continue working through the food stores we have in place.

Making sure we eat through our food stores in place will allow for proper food rotation as well as reduce waste. We didn’t create a pantry to stare at it and admire our work. We build a pantry full of food security to actually use.

Kris

Kris learned how to preserve food from her grandmother back when she was 6 years old. Grandma would always have Kris right next to her in the kitchen letting her peel and chop and preserve food out of their 2-acre back yard garden.

Nowadays, Kris uses the techniques she learned from Grandma to fix her gut health, preserve her own food out of her back yard garden, and provide preservative free food to her family and friends.
